This page contains the pan tilt zoom AHD cameras (HD over coax) that NSS CCTV Dealer Lucknow supplies. These HD pan tilt zoom cameras support 1080p / 2 megapixel resolution and UTC PTZ controls. Not familiar with AHD technology? Learn more by this article: What is AHD?
For recording, AHD security cameras must be used with a compatible AHD DVR. We high recommend iDVR-PRO surveillance DVRs for use with these cameras.
UTC / Up The Coax PTZ Support
The AHD PTZ cameras on this page support UTC, which stands for “Up The Coax”. It is a technology that allows the video and PTZ commands to both transmit over the same RG59 coax cable.
This is how to wire this UTC compatible PTZ to a DVR. In this example, we are using an iDVR-PRO hybrid DVR.
Blue Wire – RG59 coax cable is run from the PTZ camera to a video input on the DVR. This will transmit the video signal and pan tilt zoom commands.
Green Wire – Optionally, the DVR is connected to a router / Internet connection using CAT-5e cable if the user wants to enable remote viewing and remote PTZ control via mobile apps and desktop software for Mac or Windows.
AHD cameras do require a compatible HD DVR in order to capture high definition video. NSS CCTV Dealer Lucknow offers hybrid DVRs that work with both HD-TVI, AHD and standard definition CCTV cameras. We highly recommend our iDVR-PRO hybrid DVRs. You can learn more about these DVRs here.
